The Puerto Natales Local Guides Association, from its beginning on 2007, have organized different important activities to improve the knowledge and service of the guides.

•May – August, 2008:Biological and Cultural Biodiversity of Patagonia Diploma, Magallanes University.
•September, 2008:SAN – WFR: Wilderness First Responder Course, given by E.A.S.P.A (Argentinean School of Life-Saving and First Aid)
•September, 2008:SAN – WFR /BR: Search and Rescue Course, given by E.A.S.P.A (Argentinean School of Life-Saving and First Aid) and the Randis Outdoor Consulting.
•August, 2008:Enterprising Capacity Development Course , given bySENCE (Government of Chile) and the Patagonia Austral E.I.R.L OTEC .
